Not sure.

The Gti is a 3 door

the GTI is 3 and 5 door.

and yeh 'seer, the 5's growing on me too.
the mk5 GTI looks quite nice, i like it 8)

cost an arm and a leg tho, dont think i could ever sanction buying 1 when 2nd hand R32's are getting so reasnoble in price in comparison ;)

you're missing a very serious point though.

servicing costs.. both the r32 and 4motion have scary prices for the servicing.. i think the r32 may well hold its value well.
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...
