A drive or a project?

Mine only goes out when its dry, not my daily drive. mondeo tdci company car, i cover the midz as an engineer. i would say i only see 1 or 2 a week. and i do look for them.

Best kept standard one i saw as i got on the M5 north from worcester, spotless gold GL, looked like a daily. dont see many 16vs would love to see more out there!

i do enjoy the power mine has. just keeps pulling!

I think the Golf2 would probably have top spot for being 25yrs old and still going strong.

Top car of 17 years plus of 1 model & marque has to be the Ford Escort Mark 1 or 2. As much as I love the Golf I would love another mint Escort. The Escort will never be replaced as the top classic!!!!     Cheers     Deano

I have never classed my gti16v as a project, I see it as a car that was the best VW could produce in 1988, So as far as i can see if its looked properly there is no dougt it will last 4 ever,
 But if i would choose a project car it would have 2 be a LANCIA DELTA INTERGRALE,
