I had a look under my hood today, and there is a pipe behind the TB, it's a thin green or blue pipe with a cloth bend going into the TB.  I reckon this cloth bit is a bit worn.  anyone know what this pipe is for/called?  is it a common failure?  cheers  indi.

could be:
auto box
cruise control
carbon canister

UK spec models dont usually have this pipe here, its blocked off instead.  Other thing it could be is someone has moved the MFA vacuum pipe here, from the factory this pipe should be on the chunky brake servo hose.

Hi Guys,
The old 8v digi woes have struck again.
If I lift the clutch slightly with the brakes on I put load on the engine it drops back down again. Almost like the vacuum is pulling something shut.

Any ideas?
Cheers
Matt

Hi
Check the brake servo hose.

Just in case anyone else has this. I think it is my ISV playing up again, even when it is disconnected. I think there might be some sort of air leak within the valve itself.
Is it possible to dismantle it or just try to get hold of another one?
