No problem reversing up a slope,  but you have no clutch control so there is a not as much instant control as with a manual.  Makes parallel parking on a slope a bit trickier IMHO.

with my DSG, i find you have to wait 2-3 seconds for the clutch to engage to stop it rolling.
Mk6 Golf GTI 5dr, DBP, Monza Shadow, Xenons, ACC, RCD510, Park Assist, Camera, Lux pack.... and now bluetooth.... and now DSG!
