My Subaru
« on: 18 October 2004, 09:35 »
Heres an artistic pic i took of my last car, next to what looks like an alien building.? It was lit up using green high performance bulbing all around the base of the building, to attract potential buyers i was told as it stood empty for two years, never been occupied.? Shame as its stunning.

The car is obviously a Suabru impreza, but it;s no ordinary one, limited to 444 ever built by Prodrive it had a Unique paint job - Steel Blue, fixed rear bulkhead, 17" Prodrive Wheels, Prodrive Performace pack, Prodrive Exhaust, Alcantara Bucket seats, Air Con, Momo bits inside, Build No: Plaque and was lighter than a normal Impreza.?

I'm gutted i sold the car to be truthful.? The golf Just doesn't compare but they are expensive and need loads of money if they go wrong!? Subaru spent ?13k fixing mine!? lol!? ??? :(

Anyway hope you like it!

Yeah i thought so when i first saw it.  I miss the car terribly.  was around 280Bhp and did a run of 0-62 in 4.8.

It was the mintest car i'd ever owned.  Not 1 mark on it.  Swissol used from day 1.  Making the car Uber shiney and clean.

I actually had Peter Solbergs brake setup on the front.  His actual setup from 2003 WRC.  The calipers were bought from Prodrive and were 1 piece CNC  aluminium with Titanium pistons and pipes.  Alcons are the nuts in the braking department.  335mm Discs with Alu bells were also on the car.

I've got loads of pics if people wanna see but lets face it is a VW forum so many wont be interested!  ;D

Stunning car ... why did you have to sell it?  What was the insurance like on that?

I sold it as i'm attempting to save for a house and with something like that sitting on the drive wasting money there was no way a house was in the picture.

So it went.

Although, i seem to be spending lots on the Golf at the moment too.  trying to stop myself booking it in for a respray.  lol.  Don't think its working at the moment though.

House, well maybe next year or year after when my car is 100% completed!
