help with immobiliser

hi
im installin a new glovebox into my vr.
problem is there is the immobiliser. question is what will happen if i disconnect it?

Hi Mate     If you disconnect it without starting the car then it may well mess up. The best thing to do is start the car and while it's running disconnect it. Should be ok then.     Hope this helps     Deano

I would be really carefull doing it that way as you could blow it, better to disconnect the battery then the immob. unit.

There's something I have learnt. I have always done mine with the engine running....just lucky then really!!!!!!!  Cheers     Deano

Or get an alarm specialist to sort it out properly.
