Fuel pump blowing fuses

Basically my 1.8T wont start, and I noticed the fuel pump wasnt buzzing when you open the door as per usual. I checked the fuse and it had blown, swapped for a new fuse, turned the key onto 2 and the fuse blew again.
Anyone had this before?

new fuel pump or relay required mate. You can bridge the relay to see if it still blows the fuse. If it does it's your pump, if not it's the relay
DO NOT DRIVE AROUND WITH THE RELAY BRIDGED THOUGH!!!
