How do i know what VAG cable to get , i'm wanting to buy one off ebay ..

what year is your car?

Its either OBD1 or OBD2, depending on the change.

Do you know where your plug is in the car? Either beside the ash tray or in the foot well.

If its by the ash tray its an OBD2, CAN BUS
