mk3 springs, what size?

right strate to the point....   what size should the inside diameter be for springs on a mk3 gti 8v, also if any1 knows the specs for other engine sizes, 16v, vr6 etc... i'v got some springs that were too big for mine  and like to know what they would fit.... the top coil inside is 80mm  the lower is 115mm if this helps cheers guys...  for sale if any1 wants em  tenner  located in sheffield.  thanks guys

depends on the age of them, the early ones were MK2 diameter, later ones used a larger spring cap.
