insurance question

hello right when i do insurance quote on confused.com there are 3 types of engine upgrades to choose from as in percent of upgrade, now my cars a 150bhp turbo and r tech say they can get it to 210 or just below so which percent thing on confused do i pick to get it right????? just so i can get a proper quote thanks

31.5% i think is a 60bhp increase from 150bhp = 210bhp

Surely (60/150)x100=40% increase in power. Don't know if you could use the actual whp figure to maybe fall into the next category down (but i would of thought thats a little dodgy).

that's who i went with - amazing company and stupidly cheap!! halfed the cost of quotes from places like confused  :cool:

and i'm sure part of the application for there is you have to drive a modded car!!
a work in progress......someday i might think i'm happy with a car....maybe

so far: 40mm Gmax lowering kit, upper and lower S3 strut braces, pipercross panel filter, Smoothed air box and 18" Audi R8 reps

Mate f**k that sh!t! Ignore anything the twits tell you when you have a modded car quote wise! It just doesnt work. I had a massive hoo har over my insurance for my turboed mk2. Actually ring the normal modified car peoples
