Tracking / camber / alignment etc question
« on: 24 October 2009, 08:17 »
Hey could any of you guys tell me if going from 17'' wheels to a space saver back to 17'' wheels throw out my tracking or anything? I ask this because my car has been slightly pulling to the left since refitting my wheels. Thanks, Jack

Possibly, there's been a few nasty ones on the route I take to work. Just don't really want to get it MOT'd with it pulling left

mine pulls to the left, yet the front is aligned.

The alignment guy, who I got on with well told me the rears are out of alignment due to the stub axles being bent, which is usual for a car this age. So the car is "crabbing".

It shouldn't if aligned properly on a 4 wheel alignment rig.
mine is straight as an arrow, despite original stub axles and track rod ends.

yea i wasnt suggesting that all mk3 just do pull to the left it just seems that they are particularly suseptable to getting miss aligned and pulling to the left rather than the right.
