GTI engineering manifold
« on: 30 September 2004, 09:06 »
Hi folks,

Ive got a gti engineering mk2 8v plus pack (going into a mk1). Ive just been given an ashley 4 branch mainfold for the car, is this gonna be better than the gti engineering ported manifold? Not sure which way to go.

Also is there any perfomance to be gained from fitting a 16v metering head intsead of the standard 8v unit?
Any help any one can give would be great, cheers

  Ben

I don't think the Mk2 item will fit a Mk1 downpipe, but i might be very wrong.

Mk1 and mk2 exhaust manifolds and downpipes are different and not interchangeable.
