Hi
i ordered mine a little over a week ago - I was advised that I would get it around "mid December", I hope in time for the VAT increase, saving 2.5% is at least a few litres of petrol if anything.

Still kinda apprehensive about it - no doubt I would absolutely adore the car, but it's just the cost as it's a lotta dough, in fact the most I've ever spent on any one thing. Perhaps I'm not the only one? I read somewhere that apart from your house, your car is probably the most expensive thing you will ever buy, and probably the most vulnerable. Actually I think I read that on a Police car crime leaflet!

I think it's kinda like having Keeley Hazell as a girlfriend - properly fit as hell but will get attention EVERYWHERE - not just the nice kinda attention but the attention like gits who like to key the side of the car, smash windows, jacked whilst waiting at red lights, steal keys whilst I'm sleeping - it's all I've been thinking about! Please tell me it's normal.... or do I need to go see the doctor? Or should I just not have the car? I'll just keep the boring one for now...

I got mine in just over 2 months, and if I hadn't been on holiday when it showed up, I could have got it nearly a week earlier.

Rolfe - what spec did you get?

5-door
Blue Graphite (pearl)
DSG
ACC
Sunroof
Winter pack
Luxury pack
Flat tyre indicator

He's called Prospero (continuing a theme of Tempest car names), and he is totally, completely and unreservedly gorgeous.
