I can highly recommend th fiscon phone fit. I've had it in my mk6 GTI. Very good integration with the iPhone too, I use it with the iPhone 3g and the only issue I found was that you had to switch off the keypad clicks and lock and unlock sound - otherwise every time you touched the phone it would mute the stereo.
Also you will have full integration with the multifunction steering wheel.
