00543 - wierd fault code

got this fault caode.. i take it has something to with remap i had   :undecided:

00543 - Maximum Engine Speed Exceeded (Engine Warranty VOID! :-)
            35-10 - - - Intermittent

Was it rolling roaded?

I think it may have something with them taking it up to the limiter when they do it

Not too sure about clearing it, I did a Vagcom scan on a car for another forum member & everything was ok appart from the same code so I didnt clear it

Its because of the remap - VW put a limit on which would void warranty if exceeded because of a remap ect.

Just clear it  :wink:

 :smiley: Also AFAIK this only happens on remapped AGU's as on DBW cars the rev limit threshold is also changed.
