Two types of Front window regulators for mk2's?

Anyone know if there are different regulators for both one piece and the early quarterlight window doors on the MK2?
Noticed on ebay that someone selling a n/s front regulator says that certain regulators will only fit models with the one piece type window from 1987 to 1991. I don’t want to order one only to find that it won't fit.

I need a n/s front manual one for a '86 GTi (with quaterlights), has anyone got a good working one that they want to sell?

From what I can remember big and small window, window regulators are the same.

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

nope small and big regulators are different, but 3/5 door fronts are the same
