Howdy, Im in the middle on a 16v conversion and was wondering if anyone could help me out,

Does the hydrolic clutch and cable clutch use the same pedal box?

Because it was originally a cable clutch and the new gearbox is hydrolic clutch, just wondering if i bought the hydrolic stuff, wether it would be plain sailing or if id have to do alot of work changing the pedal box?

yes differant, but instead of changing the peddle box etc you can change a few bracket and the lever on the gearbox to make it a cable change box. I believe they are from the seat ibiza. Someone more knowledeable will be able to give you the exact details and part numbers.

ok think i might just have to go that route then, would it have been hard work fitting a new pedal box?
