Might be, might not it's condition that is key.

I bought an OG16v off PH's with only 110k on the clock, spent a bit on putting it through it's MOT, took my girlfriend away for the weekend and the chef at the hotel wanted to buy it for 2.5k. And this is before I sort the paintwork out I'm still putting an ABF in mine though as I didn't buy it to wrap it in cotton wool...

I bought mine off him. He always has a choice of genuine, original few owner cars, with nice mileage. I may have paid a bit more than from a private seller, but it saved me the fuel, time off work and effort of going to look at others.
