Roof Moulding / Ext. Door Seal

As per subject... the exterior moulding that runs from bottom side of front windscreen, up front side of door, along top side of door (acting as an exterior door seal) and continues to the rear of the roof as a rain gutter.

I spoke to VW today and they are obsolete from VW. Does anyone know where I can get this from? Im talking brand new here.

I'm probaly vey wrong here but can you put the rubbers in boiling water to loosen them up and in a way 'reset' them?

Good luck with that, but let mw know if you do. I looked into this a while back as one of mine had perished. I went to VW - £200, so i gave up on that. I went to a scrap place and got one to replace, and that car had just had new ones put on. Wish i had got both of them, as the other one is knackered now, and the place has gone. The car also had a genuine votex console, and i thought it was different! I knew nothing back then, i could have got it cheap and sold it on!

I've tried a few other places since posting but to no avail. When people do rebuilds on campers and beetles, where do they buy they're stuff like this?
