I've got a late mk1 cabriolet gti and wish to get a bit more power. My mate says that i should get the engine ported. What is this? Will it give me more power and is it expensive? Any other tips on mods etc to get more power from my golf would be great!!
Cheers

first steps for an increase in power is to get air in quicker and gases out faster. Do this with a K&N panle filter and a decent exhaust system.

powerflow are a popular choice as they can be tailored to your specification. You will need to find a local outlet, but I'm sure a google search will bring one up.
