Price for new driver?
« on: 24 September 2009, 16:21 »
Hey guys!

Looking to buy my first car soonish.

Want something on the lines of a MK1.

I want either:

Mk1 3 door, 1.3 LR (would 1.1 be considerably less?). Would pop on some new wheels, lower it and just debadge it. It will be repainted so a non standard paint work.

Would do the same for a 1.6 diesel Mk1 caddy.

Anyone got a rough idea as of how much I should expect to pay?

Hey.

Tried that, but for some reason it came up £6000 for a 1.1

AHH!! dam, thatsa lot! :( try, insuring a cheap car, putting mk1 in another person's name ( mum /dad) then u can drive it? under named driver, but i think they need to be insured on it? but that shouold be cheap!!

and u still get no claims because you have,nt claimd on the insurance :)

maybe?
