I use the Bosch plugs that u can pick up from GSF or Euro Car Parts for bout ?10, I wouldn't bother goin to somewhere like Halfords and paying ?20 for the NKG or Champion plugs they sell.

I recently bought some new leads from GSF for about ?80ish although I don't think it really matters what type of leads you get, I've been told theres not much of a gain to be had from having 'fancy' leads. If your going to do the leads and plugs then it may be worth your while doing the dizzy cap and rotor arm as well, I did this on my valver earlier this year and these parts cost less the a fiver.

An oil filter from GSF is only about ?3 and is a guniune Audi/VW item, oil I tend to use Castrol Magnetec for conventinal engines, although other people swear by other brands.

If your gonna do a full service then I suggest you get on and change the fuel filter aswell and if you've got a free flow filter wiv a drilled air box then it'll be a good idea to take it out and run the hoover over it, mine seems to suck in all sorts of crap/flies/leaves etc.....

I think thats about it really..... ;)
