Advice needed please

Just been sat at the lights 1.8 t aum all of a sudden started vibrating badly engine management light cam on so drove the car home engine man light flasheing under load gets home looks underneath exhaust is is having a fit and can smell burning any ides? all help greatly appreciated cheers

so is it just the exhaust vibrating badly or the whole engine ?

if it bouncing round in the bay like a small kid with adhd that been fed a large quantity of blue smarties i would say.  i would say somethine quite magor and mecanical has departed what it was attached to.

if it's not quite that bad ( and more likely ) it may have dropped a cylinder for some reason.   pull the plugs  have a look at them,  read the fault codes and do a compression test

Had to send it to rehab  it appears a breather pipe was ripped in half and caused a few probs noteably cyl 2 is misfiring (coilpack maybe) cam sensor is a fault and obviously the breather pipe/pipes and manifold gasket and injector seals have got to be replaced.

bad times :-( there goes my remap money
