Just a quick note to say Hi to you all I am enjoying reading your posts.
After 15 years of wanting one I have finally decided to by a mk2 golf gti as a second toy. So I have started doing a little research on what I want to get for my money..
I am still in the process of deciding/raising budget but have been looking around and am not sure whether to go for the 8v or 16v - any of you guys any advice?
My first choice would be a Bright Blue metallic 3 door - I am not sure if they come in both engines?
I am more interested in reliability, than power as I already have another 'hot hatch'
