Hi there i only ever seem to post here when i have a problem oh well!
 I have recently purchased a Corrado G60 and untill now no problems. Having removed the stereo to check the wiring as it was cutting out at medium volume. I noticed the earth was not connected to the usual brown wire.
  I connected the earth to brown and powered up the stereo everthing was fine so i took the car a run. After inserting the stereo back into the facia the car no longer starts and the stereo no longer powers up. The engine still winds fine on the starter and all the fuses are ok,
any help will be great.

Get the stereo out again and have a good look at your wiring to make sure nothing has shorted out.  Also where did you connect the earth to?

Check your fuses too
