Best Springs for a mk4 1.8 20v gti.

as above, what are the best spring to get, i still want the smooth ride quality, just want it lower for better looks, im thinking eibach or H and R?

Not intrested in suspension kits or coilovers btw.

as you have said eibach and h & r are both good as is the jom kit to theres a few of us in the mk4 section who have these on our 1.8T's tbh for the money they are spot on good ride comfort and handling they are 30% stiffer than the oem set up but its hardly noticeable and also you get both the springs and shocks with this kit the others are just springs but if you want your shocks to last with just fitting springs then the better idea would be fit shortened shocks with them at the same time hth

Pointless fitting just springs as your shocks will not last very long and handling will suffer.

As said, if you want a smooth ride your best option is getting a matched springs and shocks kit.

Make sure you change the front rear wishbone bushes to Audi TT ones and the rear bushes to Seat leon Cupra R ones when you change the shocks and springs.
