Just had a loadsa money paid into my account to pay for the car...getting a bankers draft sorted out.

Scarey to see all that money in my account like that in one go. But not for long though!!

Just put a deposit down to buy a house too...I think I'm losing it completely now! ;) :)

All this money!! And its not even mine! ;) :)

My mate has just sold his R32, was a lovely lovely machine! Only one problem, 150 miles to a full tank of fuel!!! So it had to go (used as a business car) He is now driving an Audi A3 TDi PD 140, which is also a nice car - but not a R32!!! He misses the Golf loads, except when he pulls up at a petrol station.

Well I got the car!

As for the fuel consumption, I went from Brighton to Sheffield and back and got 28 mpg. Not bad considering I wasn't hanging around..

Around Brighton I am getting 15 mpg, still reasonable considering my leaden right foot!!!!

Off to get the flat spot sorted soon....AMD or West tuning I think....

Will keep you informed...
