headlight washers are not a legal requirement for xenon lights unless supplied from factory.

I said I wouldnt get drawn into this, but ...

2. Once fitted to the vehicle it must have headlamp cleaning and self-levelling (which can be for the headlamp or can be in the vehicle suspension - some expensive estate cars have "self-levelling suspension" and that is adequate). Also the dipped beam must stay on with the main beam.

Yeah, I was just going to say. Thats why I used to word "technically" as loads of people on this site are running HIDs without washer jets and levelling sensors and don't get any grief from police or MOT so I wouldn't worry about it tbh, just thought I would be Mr.Anal and point it out.

surely that's one of the perks of having a GTI is to enjoy posing in it?  xenons are worth every penny.  they look the nuts and are far superior in terms of visibility.  anyone who says different either doesn't have them or is a pikey and can't afford them.

I totally agree.  I absolutely love the look of my GTI with the xenons and people come up all the time to ask about them and rain praise on the car.
