mk3 golf gti help

i have just changed my cam belt and four excust valves, put new plugs and coil lead becuase it was not sparking properly, got it running no. it seems ok but i took it for a drive and it now seems to be lacking in power and hesitating obsivously i havnt been putting my foot down yet, but it seemss to have a loss of power any ideas? i would be graftul, thanks

double check your timing marks all line up if you havent already.

I would say it a timing issue too...
try and rev above 5000rpm and if it dosent your at least a tooth out on the belt
