Hi, I wanna know how I can get the brushed alu effect for the door handles rather than buying them?

lol! i was told that you can sand them down and then spray them to give it the brushed effect?

was told i take of as usual, get sanding paper to give it the brushed effect and then either spray or paint apparently?
