Nice one Brian, what spec was in it ? what kind of deal did you get ?

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

Its a Mk6 GTI Reflex Silver, bigger alloys think called Monza or something, Leather seats, DSG, parking sensors and a rear camera view inside when selecting reverse.
Difficult to guage deal as part exchanged an E Class Mercedes but got a good price for that so think all in all 2k off list probably best I can assertain.
Been to Cornwall twice in a month for family business from Kent and smile all the way there and back.  So powerful and causes lots or people to goggle at it lol.

Sounds a sweet car buddy. Mate of mine has an E320 merc, nice car too.

Yer, we only went for short test drive and we had a few head turners too, it really is a lovely car though.

Had an electrical failure - all lights which suddenly dissappeared they worked intermittently but no fault found on the plug in gadget.  Central Electronics unit might have been the problem.  Hate it when faults disappear.

Else only other trouble is keeping my foot off the throttle lol!!
