After looking at the plain jane flanks of the mk6, then seeing the GTI-Street photographed at Worthersee GTI Treffen this year I wondered how good the mk1 GTI style side stripes would look on an otherwise standard mk6 GTI.
Would anybody be kind enough to have a go at chopping the stripes onto the standard car? You never know, it could catch on.....

You can just about make out the side stripes along the bottom of the door above the ickle side skirt in the pictures below.
