Tyre Gel? Black shoe polish wax?

I need something thats good to make my tyres either look black rather than faded black and wet look? Went to halfords and they had turtle wax gel 6.99, wet look 3.99, something at 21.99 but think it was on the wrong shelf...Please help, have had car cleaned, clayed everything and look me the DAY! and was gonna do me wheels today....

what about that foam stuff that you spray on and it foams up, then brush in with stiff brush then wash off.. with lots of water.. it isnt the best stuff but makes tyres look ok, cost me £1  :smiley:

not for tyres.. some people use the kiwi show polish with the SPONGE applicator for trim but not for tyres... you'll end up in a big mess if you use the normal wax shoe polish from a tin

megs tyre gel I am hearing good things about and you can get it from halfords... personally I use poorboys natural look which doesn't provide a shiny finish but does give a nice matt black appearance
