koni suspension

reet

having fitted koni coilies to the mk3 at some ridiculous price I thought it best to try and economise a bit with the mk1... I have to buy a new suspension set as the original is completely knackered... I have just been wondering what to opt for.

my thinking is that even though I have full damping and height adjustability on the mk3 suspension I never really play with it that much, i did at first, so all I want to do is just have a slightly lower stance on decent springs and shocks...

i found these which aren't the cheapest in the world... but then again they won't blow my budget like a fully adjustable set.

thoughts?

secondly... would there be any issues fitting this set to a mk1 cabby?

Koni stuff is good sh!te whatever you buy. As for correct for a cab I'm not sure. The cab is heavier than the tn top so you may want higher poundage springs. I would advise speaking to someone like TSR or one of the other tuners to see what they would recommend, then buy it online and have me fit it. Mwahahahahah!

The koni kit will be fine and can tell you 100% that all mk1 susp will be ok, cabrios are the same.
