my passat went bang!!!!!!!!

i had some bad news today! as i was doing my usual drive home from work my lovely passat decided to die on me. A very nice chap from vw has told me that my cat has gone on my exhaust as well as the turbo has seized and is now running hot as well as over fuelling.

1: i need a new turbo (ko4)
2: passat turbo exhaust system 3"
3: a very big intercooler

if anybody knows of any1 or a good company that i can get these parts please let me know as i miss it all ready and have to cycle to work and back (26 mile round trip)

i can recommend a company in stirchley,birmingham called GAPturbos 01214598170,theyve got state of the art balancing kit and sorted out my proffesionally rebuilt k03 on my passat from midland turbo that was whistling like a kettle.it was miles out of balance and overboosting and hitting limp mode all the time,afterwards it was perfect.

mate what turbo did you have on the passat b4?

if it was a k03 remember if you upgrade to k04 it wont do much unless you uprate everything else (ive jus done the k04 upgrade myself)

hi yeah it was k03 but if the turbo has gone i will strip it down and rebuild it to the k04, but at the moment i dont know where to start as its my only car and i need transport lol. what will i need to upgrade? where can i find the part at low prices?( moneys abit tight at the moment) as you can tell i am a bit stuck and in need of help
