If it's head gasket your temp will go sky high very quickly. I used to get mayo in my old camper and that was air cooled. Sounds like condensation to me.

i think i can rule that out then as the oil and water temps are fine

just condensation dude. take the car for a nice long blast in the motorway, sticking to the speed limit (of course) in 4th so the revs are nice and high. That should clear all the breathing pipes

I had this on  my car recently. I only went 4 miles a day at it never warmed up properly. Took it 200 miles and it all went.

I wouldn't really give it any concern. Check your air filter though and make sure it isn't wet, my airbox got wet somehow and it just meant all the breathers were full of mayo. I cleaned it all out with degrease, then went on a big 100+ mile drive, no sign since.
