...Without the stupid price tag attached by the stealers?

I see they're on Ebay for £799, but assume you'd still need to get the coding and stuff done? (excuse my ignorance, I don't know much about VW's yet!!)

Cheers

I think it can be done but it gets silly, I've heard of levelling sensors and headlight washers required.  Else you won't pass an mot.

Prolly cheaper to sell and buy one with them fitted

Let the fun begin........Red Gti, full colour coding, DSG, Xenons, Winter pack, Lux pack, Highline, Sat Nav, Sunroof, Leather, Milltek, ABT rear valance, Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics....pescaras :-)

To do them "legally" you need auto levelling sensors, headlight washers and projector lenses.

Winter (or lux pack, can never remember) comes with the headlight washers but to get the levelling sensors all put it and done properly its a very expensive job. I in no way agree or recommend you do the following but you could just do what everyone else does and stick them in without the sensors or headlight washers (very selfish and irresponsible thing to do imo) but if you insist on doing it this way you MUST get the projector lamps as you can blind people with your aftermarket HIDs.

These HIDs you get off eBay always look a bit cheap and you can tell they aren't OEM xenons (imo). My suggestion is to purchase uprated bulbs from www.powerbulbs.com and get 10% off with the forum discount. Thats what I have done (as well as plenty of others). Keeps it all legal without the MOT failure (plenty of members with MK2, MK3 and MK4s have had HID kits added without washers or level sensors and pass their MOT every year so make what you want of people saying you fail your MOT)
