You should have a confirmed build week by now if you hope to see the car before the end of July. I have on order an A4 for a guy at work. Its build week 25 and has been for the last 2 weeks. It will be built end of month and then 2-4 weeks later we will get it.

I they dont have an idea I would be very concerned.

Well have spoken to VW and they reckon my phone will not work and they are not even sure that it will even be able to hang up or end calls through the steering wheel or put the audio through the speakers. I have a Samsung Tocco F480.

Am thinking i might try and see if my local dealer has any cars in with bluetooth and then i can try and pair them to see if it works at all.

Regarding delivery ... its not looking good ... nothing at all ... no build week!!!

Yeah check with your local dealer Neil, make sure its a mk6 gti, or mk5 if its the same bluetooth module they are using.

Regarding delivery, thats bad, very bad, to me it sounds like they aint even ordered it yet.

Just found out in the MKV forum that i need a Fiscon Bluetooth set and it is fully compatible with the VW stereo, steering wheel, speakers and computer.

The thread for anyone interested is

Regarding the car .. who knows ... if they drag it out till December atleast i can get insurance with my current provider and not lose another year of no claims for swapping companies mid policy! However if i wait that long i will not be amused!!

Im thinking late July/early Aug! heres hoping anyway!!!
