Id be up for a bit of this drilling and panel filtering tbh. Sounds cheap and better :) anyone know of a post which has maybe diagrams on how to do it, etc. Im not stupid, but not a hardcore car person either. Dont wanna mess it up :p

I have noticed a bit of an increase in performance aswell, It feels more responsive now. in All Gears.

Panel Filter (piper cross) drilled box, cold air feed direct into box.

Go 4 the Panel filter. Least then u can drill the box and if u dont want toooooooooo much noise then dont drill loads of holes, all depends on how u want it sounding. only drill the bottom of the air box on the drivers side. (i did)

Nice one. I saw the thread of how to drill etc. Looks like something even I can manage. Has anyone done a thread on DIY'ing a cold air feed?
