parking brake

ive got a mk2 golf gti and its falied mot twice for same thing when i thought it was fixed. got  new calipers cable is fine  dont no what else it can be? can any 1 help ?  :sad:

the brake works fine just n/s parking working only a little

Might be the calipers have seized.

Im fitting mk4 rear calipers to hopefuly cure this problem on mine.

If your MOt bloke lets you sit in the car and do the brake test....

Press the foot brake while you lift the hand brake handle.  :tongue:

Yes MK4's will make it feel cusshy and pass the MOT to boot!
