Yup ip probably was a 1l i dont know. However, I do know you can pick up performance parts for peanuts and over there, petrol stations offer pure alcohol aswell as petrol and diesel ( alcohol is about half the price of petrol, but also get less range on a tankfull)
You see loads of tuned cars over there. I remember walking along the road and seeig a GSXR flying past leaving a very distinct smell of burnt alcohol. Dad (lives over there) said alcohol gives more top end power, but has hardly any torque. I know this cos i drove a 1.6 corsa running on alcohol and it wouldnt get up the drive on second from a roll....lol
