I can't believe how many disconnected plugs there are, what moron put that fascia back on without noticing half of the dash was redundant??

it wasnt me i've only just brought the car lol, as far as i know its only the fag lighter and window heater not working so god knows what the others are for?? tried pulling it through but all the plugs are getting caught so gunna need to take lots apart on the weekend to get in there. i dont understand why they are so far over (right over past the ignition etc) it looks like it has been threaded through for a reason but what reason?

If I remember correctly..

The large black one is your diagnostic port
The small black one to the right of the picture is for your cigarette lighter illumination
The white one is to power your cigarette lighter
The one at the top is for your heated rear screen switch
And I don't see a 'fourth' one? Unless that red thing is another plug? In which case, it probably isn't used.. although I think red plugs were used on the airbags.

I'm not 100% sure though and it's 10 to 2 in the morning so don't fancy going outside to rip my dash apart..
