Cleaning wheels - 2 tone
« on: 04 June 2009, 14:53 »
Well here are the wheels on the Car - known as -"The Black Beaver"

Not to keen on the wheels to be honest but while Ive got them want them to look good.

There Matt Black (personally I would have bought gloss, but came on the car) with an Aluminium looking lip.

Whats the best way to clean them the black dries streaky and come to think of it so does the Aluminum front lip.

There is the option to get them recoated but Id rather put the money towards a new set of Lambo Gallardo wheels.

When i have them whats the best product on this strange finnish of wheels

Oh and before someone says it yes it does need dropping, only got the car home yesterday, but its on the list

bilberry is an excellent wheel cleaner... one you have your wheels sealed with something like poorboys wheel sealant the brake dust shouldn't stick at all

And you dilute it so should last a while. I used it yesterday fr the first time without a sealent and it was quite good.
