hi gents just had a new recon gearbox fitted to car and clutch yesterday so decided to test it on motorway . so gets on m/way and takes it up to 70 nice and steady everything fine until i looked at rpm counter an found rpm at 70mph is 3600
on my old box it sat at 3000 no probs nice and steady why do you think its at 3600 is it newness of box or could it be a different ie earlier box my car is a 98 mk3 git r reg any one with any ideas or explanations please feel free to post cheers .vmech
