hi does any one no how to get the interior mirror off of a golf gti mk1 1983 coz im fitting a new head linner but cant get the mirror off so could any one help me please thanx ian

On my '89 Clipper, it was stuck to the windscreen with super glue type stuff!

think on the tintop its clipped in like the mk2, if so yank it!
