And you forgot to add that the GTI-R will be thousands more expensive than the GTI.

Too true. VW is getting very greedy with its prices. Mark 6, as already noted elsewhere on the forum, is quite a step-up in cost from the Mark V. My biggest gripe is ACC, which I feel should be standard. God alone knows what the GTI-R will cost. At least it'll be cheaper than comparable Audis, although that's not saying much!!!!!!!!

Golf R - almost on order - 5-door, DSG, Rising Blue, leather, 19" alloys, RNS510 with Dynaudio, ACC, Sunroof, Parking camera and sensors, luxury pack and cruise control.

I'd like VW to feel a little pinch in the economic climate, just to shock them into keeping prices low for the current market. But they wont, they are a huge company owning the likes of Audi, Lamborghini etc so they dont have to lower anything, thats what gets on my wick.

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.
