VAG-Com/VCDS Coding
« on: 27 August 2009, 00:24 »
Anyone managed to use VAG-Com/VCDS to turn off/on the Daylight Running Lights yet?

Or to change the Central Locking module features?
Bleep when locking/arming, all doors lock/unlock together etc?

If so, did the Mk5 procedures work?
Or are there Mk6 specific procedures anywhere?

Cheers,

Glen.

Getting the electric mirrors to fold when you lock the car (ignition off) remotely would be great!
Mk6 Golf GTI 5dr, DBP, Monza Shadow, Xenons, ACC, RCD510, Park Assist, Camera, Lux pack.... and now bluetooth.... and now DSG!

My stealer changed the unlock/lock function for me.

My local indy, the Revo guy said if you turn off the DRL's they cannot be turned back on? Sounds wierd but if that's correct that could cause a problem in the future if DRL's become a legal requirement?

I'm sure I came across the procedure in my mk 6 handbook to turn the DRL on and off....can check later if you want

And you can change the all doors lock/unlock together via the highline..did it myself yesterday.

I found the procedure for the Scorocco...wasn't sure if it was the same for the Mk6 Golf.
I would think the Mk5 stuff might work too...they are pretty similar electronics wise, it seems.

Really?
Is that in the handbook?

I'd not thought of that...but yes, that would be good.
