US shows compared to ours..

I'm just on watching "WagenWerks - The films vol. 1" dvd and the quality of their cars and shows compared to the UK's just seems sooooo much better, on another level. Is it just me that thinks this way?

Which country do you think has the best dub scene in terms of quality?


I wonder how much a respray costs in the US.. Most of their cars are resprayed in different colours like it's a 10 minute job!

I reckon it is more expensive to modify cars here by quite a bit. Germany is the best vw scene isnt it? Even the americans come over for worthersee

certainly seems to be more mainstream to mod cars in the US

germany is all a bit airbrushy and crazy.
and worthersee is in austria!

belgians have got it pretty licked, though they mainly concentrate on big high end audis and the like.

Belgium, for what good that comes out of the US there is 100x more crap in my opinion.

Agreed. It's mostly a numbers thing. For every stunning car from the US there are 100 average/poor/boring cars. This is really clear on VW Vortex where there are a few really impressive cars in any section but the rest are either boring or look the same.

Going by the thread on vortex that was posted in the mk4 section in here there really is a lot of over done rubbish IMO. I thik the UK is the best for budget or what i call 'controlled' modding.
