Hello all, just thaught i'd introduce myself!
My name is Martin, im 23 and from Nottingham, Im just about to buy a mk3 golf cabrio, not usually my cup of tea, but my mate is desperate to get rid of it so I thaught i'd take it on! Im normally into aircooleds and have been since I was 16 (there the only cars ive ever had!) To be honest I think this weather has swayed me to having a cab for the summer, BUT the downside to this car is that it does need a bit of tidying here and there. I basicly intend to lower said vehicle, fit some RS8 wheels and stick a vento front end on it. The first thing I need to know is where to find where the paint code is! Or unless anybody wants to take a gamble, its the dark purple colour found on most avantgarde cab models and VR6 highlines (I think).
Also if anybody knows if the Vento was also released in this colour so I can find the right coloured bonnet!
