Yes it just fits directly into the back of the std gamma unit,i run a vibe 10inch sub and amp off it without any problems,and give me the extra bass that the std set up is missing.

:huh:i feel like there's to much bass in my golf !!!.. i aint even put nothing on i set the bass to -2 and it is still thumpin ...makes it distort and high volume tho.. thats why im opting for this pre-out adapter..

The distortion is down to the head unit,not the speakers.If you amp these up aswell the sound improves.

my mates golf is same problem when blast it up
yh ill prob just amp it all up and add some tweeters... still in 2 minds so see what happens

thats a great link thanks for that gonna have a good read
i did have a problem last month .. i changed my headunit adn my central locking went dead so had to put the standard back in for my central locking start working again.. and had get keys re-coded becuase of it..
